The Electronic Arts NBA series appeared a year better and better programs. The graphics, sound effects, quality has improved year after year and it's from the NBA Live 99 is no exception. In fact, probably one of the best in the series. It is true that 3D cards can be spread more easily to do amazing artwork, but like everything, so it's also true that it is easier said than done.
